Salt & Pepper Solutions (current) – Played a key role in the implementation of a new UI for a React Native app with tens of thousands of downloads and a 4.9-star rating. Built reusable UI components, managed complex state with Redux, and gained experience with releases. Contributed to two other React Native MVPs strengthening my experience in a broad range of areas, including TypeScript, unit testing, Redux, React Navigation, and writing clean, testable code.
Bookit Sports (Start-up) – Worked on a remote team that built a sports media mobile app with React Native for a US-based startup, attracting a six-figure investment based on the initial prototype. Scaled to several thousand users in the first three months. Worked on a variety of features, building attractive layouts, retrieving large amounts of data from the REST API, managing state with Redux, and synchronizing actions with Redux-Thunk.
CodeCrush.io – Acted as a teaching assistant, pair programming with two non-traditional students as they made a chat application with React, Redux, and a REST API. Honed my ability to explain concepts to newer developers clearly. Sharpened knowledge of React, JavaScript, and Redux.
