My specialty lies in my knowledge of literature and storytelling. I know the basic forms of structure and how to utilize those forms to create a story. I keep up with contemporary literature and have extensive knowledge of all the genres and literary trends. Knowing the fundamental rules of storytelling, I know how to best avoid cliches and encourage out of the box thinking.

I have as much experience with screenwriting as I do with creative writing. My screenplays have placed in numerous competitions, showing that my comprehension of storytelling is able to go beyond classic forms of literature. I can both write and effectively analyze a story from the inside out.

Much of my college education was spent studying, in addition to writing, critiques. I'm well versed in the writing style of professional criticism and know exactly what to look for in writing, even outside of fiction. I can edit technical documents to make them look official and business ready.
