I have just completed a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Literature at the University of Gothenburg.

I have several years of industry experience writing and editing materials for online learning platforms. In my role as Quality Assurer at Futures, I oversaw the creation and design of various courses for our LEP (Learning Experience Platform) OneFile. I was responsible for the ongoing, continuous process of monitoring, evaluating, maintaining and improving the quality of all learning systems. This involved regular performance feedback from users and working with our awarding bodies (eg City & Guilds) to ensure courses met all national qualifying guidelines. Lead on the learning and development consortium delivery model, engaging with employers and education specialists to identify and nurture emerging talent in the workplace. Managed learning and development guidance, support, and training offers presented to employers and businesses. I enjoy researching new document management systems to streamline the revision process. I am quick to pick up on the technical terminology within an organization and create a comprehensive library of terms for use within study user manuals.

I also worked for over ten years in Berlin, Germany, where I worked initially as a freelance English teacher before starting my own company, ILC Berlin, providing translation, language and intercultural training services to companies in the region. Additionally, I worked at SRH University in Berlin, where I designed and delivered English courses to students online and in class.

I speak English, German and Swedish.
