Darion

My name is Darion Siyabonga Majola, and I am a Web Developer/Designer. I have been developing Websites since 2010, and in 2012 I started developing websites with WordPress, at first it was just developing with WordPress on the front end, and in 2014 I started developing with custom theme development, from converting a HTML5 site to WordPress with custom post types. I have also worked with various page builders, i.e. Wp Bakery, Elementor Pro, Divi Builder, Fusion Builder. I have also worked on Headless WordPress application with React as a Front-End application and consuming Wordpress Rest API.

I have spent most of my time Freelancing as a WordPress developer, working for various organizations. In May 2019 I started freelancing for a company called Magnet systems, which provide IT solutions. At Magnet systems I have designed and developed a Career listing site, a Government tender listing site, a Car listing site, a Property listing site, and a Classified listing site. All of these sites are subscription based and have a membership capability where a person paid a certain subscription to view restricted content. The membership and restriction plugins are linked to WooCommerce and the payment gateway is stripe.

In October I was hired by WebUnlimited a Web development Agency in Texas as a WordPress Project Manager Full time (Remote). My duties were Web Designer/Developer and Project manager. I was also assigned to the ticketing system where I had to provide WordPress support to clients, providing assistance if a site broke or a plugin isn’t functioning properly. And ensuring that more than 200 sites are regularly updated, I installed InfiniteWP and iThemes Wp Sync in all of them.

I am currently freelancing as a Web developer/ Webmaster, Front End Developer for a Digital Agency and a Hosting Company based in Johannesburg.
