Working as a Senior Manager within a start-up with websites in the UK, USA, India, Canada,
Australia and more in various niches to grow traffic and generate revenue. At its peak, the
websites I ran were generating over $6,000 US per day from over 20,000 unique visitors.
I managed a team of 10 people focused on improving SERPs and converting traffic into
revenue. Through a combination of content marketing, link-building and on-page optimisation
we were able to rank first on Google for a number of search terms in the highly competitive
discount/ coupon code market.
During this time I also worked in other niches such as technology and addiction.

During my almost 3 years as the Marketing Manager at Impact I helped the company triple their
revenue and grow from 30 to 150 employees.
As the first ever marketer hired by the company my role was to set-up the marketing
department. This involved all aspects of marketing - strategic, tactical, offline and online.
In my time there I managed a website re-design, developed a brand strategy, focused the aims
of the company into key, profitable markets rather than continue to have a broad targeting
strategy.
This role also included: social media management, events management, bid management,
CRM and much more.

Business Information Systems is effectively computer programming with a focus on building
systems that help businesses manage their processes and information. As such, I am
competent in a range of programming languages important for web development and
particularly useful for a marketer, including: PHP, HTML, CSS, SQL.

September 2014 - June 2015
This professional qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing is the first step towards
achieving chartered marketer status. Over the course of a year I covered the tactical aspects of
Marketing Essentials, Digital Marketing and Integrated Communications.
The following year I also completed the more strategic classes for the Diploma in Professional
Marketing but did not complete the exams due to extenuating circumstances. I wish to revisit
these in the near future.
Personal
A little bit about me: I love travelling and I love learning.
At the moment I am based in Bali, Indonesia with the intention of travelling more of South East
Asia over the coming months. I work from various co-working spaces on the Island and learn
from the interesting and often highly qualified people I meet there.
These people are often so inspiring as they have decided what they want from life and gone out
into the world to make it happen. Over the past 7 months I have been soaking up their expertise
and applying it to the projects I’ve been involved in.
