Develop insights and draw value using Tableau, Alteryx and SQL, getting raw data into actionable business intelligence to visually present and allow both the management and senior executives within the Department. Below is a summary of Key Deliverable. A. HVA USECASE Health Vulnerability Assessment (HVA) report was created to provide impactful data visualization to the operational management team in pre-planning for major coastal storms, Pandemic Influenza and Extreme heat. Statistical and forecasting models were created within tableau environment to provide insights using historical metrics on past occurrences such super storm Sandy, and Ebola outbreak. This Report provided the management team with an historical assessment on the most affected areas and mapping out the most vulnerable future populations. We created different interchangeable NTAs /Census Tracks which presented KPIs as their own visual format. B. SYNDROMIC USECASE This Use Case was generated from Department’s Risk Unit Team and the goal was to help them derive an analytical report to track both historical and daily syndromic signals in various health facilities in various hospital in Kenya required to use various statistical models, and forecast within tableau platform to analyze historical hits, and how the conclusions drawn from the analysis could help in deriving specific policies that could be adopted by the country. The Syndromic Dashboard provided the Risk Team with a deep drill down capabilities to different databases and Servers such as Oracle, SQL, Netezza, SAS, and a direct link to the various county hospitals website. C. I was involved in all the steps of examination of source systems, Data Assessment, migration build, execution and finally transition. Second, worked with a team in creating, and deployment all Tableau Risk Assessment Reports, and modeling systems for various active portfolio pools managed by Portfolio managers in five major cities. The reports were intended to help business users to structure and monitor their portfolios based on available benchmarks. Rules within the reports were set to generate alerts whenever threshold limits are breached. A. FUTURE EXPOSURE USECASE This was a reporting use case that was created to display various metrics based on different Portfolios/Funds to meet CRM needs. The reports were fundamental in providing the CRM management team with concise, but accurate view of various funds in the markets, giving such information at ‘at-a-glance’ to aid in the portfolio managers in making decisions. B. FIXED INCOME USECASE This requirement was to make critical enhancements to an existing Fixed Income risk assessment reports for risk-adjusted portfolio performance management, managing concentration risk, and meeting regulatory requirements. To meet business needs various reports were created among them, Fixed Income by Funds, FI Exceptions Report, FI by Portfolio Classes and a high-level report (Fixed Income Summary). These reports allowed the business users to continuously track and evaluate transactions and portfolios against regulatory guidelines, balance the various trade-offs among client demands, and provide the Portfolio Managers a platform to assess various alerts generated to breach, whenever threshold limits are reached.
