I found that colleagues and in particular older execs would see me as the go to guy to help learn new tricks to make them more efficient from a tech perspective.
“I thought you may know how to do this” or “I need to try to spend 30 mins a week with you just to learn new things as I know it’ll be time well spent!” were statements I heard a LOT.
It got me thinking- why couldn’t I do this outside of my day job? So I got to work and developed my own certification and knowledge base- as a coach I knew I could always “teach” so my goal was to combine that with an expert level of knowledge.
So I can be the ‘go to guy’ on any solutions you need, or don’t know that you need!
As a manager you want to ensure your staff don’t waste time, are efficient and leverage technology to improve their performance, are receiving transparent and accountable training... I can help with that.
Do you have an accessible and organized intranet?
Are your reports taking you hours each week?
Do your systems and structure stand up in times of staff transition or on/offboarding?
