Daniel Melzak

Worked at a local computer repair shop as a computer technician for 9 years. While I was there I removed malicious software, troubleshooted problems with software/hardware issues, backed up data and installed Operating Systems. Another part of that job was talked with customers in person and over the phone about their problems and needs and sold hardware and software solutions. I moved on to repair dye-sublimation printers at another company for a couple of years, did some work as a data entry clerk at the same company for a couple more years and ended working as a computer repair technician the last year I was with that company. For the last 7 months, I worked as a data entry clerk for a non-profit organization.

I enjoy working with open-source technology and have experience using GNU/Linux Operating Systems, Container software such as Docker, ZFS and BrtFS filesystem technology.
