Daniel Marion

I'm Dan (DJ) Marion, and I'm a word nerd. I'm one of those people who loves to look for mistakes on menus, social media, web pages, etc. (I'm slightly obsessed.) So, I thought it was time to turn my passion (and quite frankly, my frustration) into a business.

Although most of my career has been spent running projects in both the construction and telecommunications industries (working in both the private and government sectors), I was also a law enforcement officer, and corporate trainer. Over the years (while I was reviewing multitudes of emails, technical documents, contracts, service-level agreements, whitepapers, and training manuals), I didn't realize I was honing a craft that would eventually become a new professional venture.

I am a registered Distributed Proofreader at Project Gutenberg. Distributed Proofreaders provide a volunteer web-based method to ease the conversion of public domain books into e-books.
