I specialize in web scraping and automation of pretty much everything.

Mostly creating my own web scrapers and scripts in Delphi, I've automated lots of things from horse racing odds comparison (and placing bets, that was fun) to crawling amazon web store and extracting data for items there.

Most projects can be completed in one of the three ways:

1. direct API access, if the website provides it. Usually using JSON, this is not really scraping, as the other side knows exactly what we're after and provided tools to get it
2. URL crawling, using the URL structure to navigate the website in question, looking for links to deeper pages and finally extracting relevant information based on unique HTML tags and words combinations
3. User simulation, connecting to a browser (usually Chromium) to access the website in question like a human would, doing key presses (like Tab key, to navigate the page elements), inputting text into fields, copy/paste operations and sometimes even mouse movements and clicks
