Daniel Gallucci

I'm Daniel Gallucci from Argentina, native Spanish speaker. I am a freelance translator with experience in general translations and technical translations as well.

I've studied English in the Argentina's British Cultural Lyceum (8 years), and lived one year in Europe (Italy, Germany, UK, Austria, Switzerland) speaking 90% in English and 10% in Italian. Apart from that I'm a Systems Engineer who worked for american companies for 16 years: Oracle and IT Convergence, in US projects (Mattel, Hill Phoenix, Vulcan Materials, Broadridge, Equifax, among other clients), maintaining periodically contact by phone, skype meetings or email, depending the client it could be daily or weekly 100% in English, this is where I got my fluent English.

In my full-time work my experience, I've performed translations of many kind of documents in the projects I've worked on, from general invoice reports, to marketing documents, legal reports, technical (IT Related, Automotive, Industrial).

About my freelance translation experience, I've done English to Spanish translation of websites, translated from Spanish to English blog posts, mainly in narrative (stories) and new age (alternative medicine, metaphysics, spiritual) categories.

I don't do machine translation, I intend to do a comprehensive translation instead of literal. This is useful when the translation is done from or to a specific Spanish speaking public (dialectic differences between different LATAM countries or Spain).

I consider myself a responsible person, professional, motivated, detailed-oriented and willing to satisfy the client's needs.
