I worked for two years as a marketing specialist for a tour company operating out of Western Australia. Then for ten years as a marketing strategist for an Australian owned development company operating out of Indonesia.

During my employment, I was tasked with producing and writing all marketing material including copywriting, content-writing, newsletters, emails, b2b and b2c. I also designed and wrote all content for business cards, banners, brochures, and websites.

I eventually left the development company so that I could pursue a career as an author and screenwriter. However, I continue to utilize my experience to help finance my chosen path by offering my skills as a freelance writer and website/graphic designer.

I have published three books about Bali Indonesia and one novel based around a kidnap in Cambodia and the fall of the Khmer Rouge writing under the pseudonym of Malcolm Scott. Currently, I am seeking publication for my fifth book, about a murder in Thailand with independent publishing house Monsoon Books. I have also written a number of screenplays across many genres from comedy to political drama to thriller.

My experience as a marketing strategist has assisted with my ability to research any topic I am writing about thoroughly. Equally, my continued and prolific writing has facilitated a very efficient ability to self-edit any writing work I produce.

I am capable of copywriting, content-writing, b2b, b2c, ghostwriting, blog articles, journalistic and travel articles. I also have experience with graphic design tool Indesign, Photoshop and Wordpress.

I am confident my experience and ability to communicate, plus a professional capacity to carry out instruction. Will help us bring any project we undertake to a professional and satisfactory conclusion.
