I am a Cuban-American Software Developer living in Portland, OR originally from Miami, FL. I love to travel and immerse myself in different cultures and their history. I find that there is much that you can learn about yourself when learning about the cultures of others.

I currently work in the Out-Of-Home Media industry developing a SaaS campaign management tool. It leverages powerful technologies such as Mapbox GL JS and React to provide a responsive user experience. My previous work has allowed me to work on various data visualization applications. One application I worked on allowed a user to see various metrics and visualizations used in Statistical Process Control with the help of ElasticSearch, leveraging its support for data aggregations. Another application I developed is a team management suite where supervisors can view team statistics, monitor team member locations, and manage locations and details where team members fulfill their tasks.

A previous application also had me creating an accessible desktop application for a Puerto Rican Congressman who is visually impaired, but will also be used by other members. The application allows for the voting of measures and review of documents. It also receives events via Socket.io so that congress members will receive notifications.
