How to Create a Note Template
This procedure will show you the step-by-step instructions on how to create a note template.
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. First, go to the top left side of the screen and hover your mouse over the Infusion
Logo. Under "Marketing" click on "Templates".
2. Once you are on the Templates page, click on “Add Template” on the top right side of
the page and select “Note” at the very bottom.
3. You will now be on the Manage Note Template page. Go to the "Title" field and start
adding the title of the template.
Note: It is recommended to always put an exclamation point (!) first and a space at the
beginning of the title. This will tell you that it can automate something and it can bring
you to the very top of the drop-down menu when you are selecting the note template
within the contact record. If this is a part of sales pipeline steps, you are going to name it
after the sales pipeline steps.
4. Once you are done, highlight the title and press CTRL-A on your keyboard to
select All and CTRL C to Copy.
5. Paste it on the "Title" field under Note Information.
6. You can select anything on the "Action Type" field.
7. Under "Description" add the description of the note template you are doing.
8. Scroll down to "Ready" and click "Yes". Then click "Save".
9. Go to the "Actions" tab. On the drop-down menu you can select any action you want to
do and click "Save".
Note: You can add multiple actions.
10. To find a contact, go to the top right side of the screen and type the contact name.
11. Click on the contact to see the record.
12. Scroll down to the "Notes" section and go to the right side of the page that says "Note
Template" find the one you created and click "Add Note".
And that's how you automate with note templates.
