WORK EXPERIENCE
June 2017 – current
APM PRACTICE ENGINEER
AXIEM International
For more than 18 years, Axiem International has provided Engineering services for the Energy, Aerospace, Automotive and Industrial Manufacturing sectors for first class companies around the world. I was hired to develop projects where I had to identify the client's equipment monitoring signals and built performance models based on the filtering and analysis of historical data.
When one of my co-workers left for maternity leave, I became in charge of tracking the projects and their status, this lead to the modification of the department's procedures according to the Norm ISO 9000:2015, as well as the closure of several RACs.
We were assigned a project for the Public Service Enterprice Group (PSEG) for two combiend cycles, located in Maryland and New Jersey, where I had to built the performance models for 25 equipments of both plants in two weeks.
A project for Emera for two combined cycles, located in Maine and Rhode Island, was assigned to me and I lead the identification of the client's monitoring signals delivering this stage of the project in two weeks.
January 2012 – April 2016
PROJECT MANAGER ASSISTANT
Unidad de Investigación MOFABI-CIA, FI-UNAM.
The Investigation Unit MOFABI is an investigation unit that specializes on solving Fluid Mechanics problems using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD). It is based in the Advanced Engineering Center (CIA) of the Engineering Faculty at UNAM. This Unit was founded on June 2013 and I’m one of the founding members. During my four years at the Unit, we developed two projects for CFE. The results can be seen at http://unidadmofabi.wixsite.com/mofabi-unam/experiencia-mofabi and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkHOX6aD7Ag&feature=youtu.be. I was hired while doing my social service at the Thermofluids Department of the Engineering Faculty of UNAM to solve Thermodynamic, Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics problems.
I was hired during my social service at the Thermofluid Department of the Engineering Faculty at UNAM. During this time my tasks were to recruit students to develop several projeects, as well as testing software for atmospheric predictions.
While developing a project for CFE, I became in charge of the following of the projects’ schedule, team and client’s meetings, the virtual modeling department and the gathering of information directly from the power generation plants.
As part of my Master’s, I developed a research on Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics in the field of CFD.
June 2010 – July 2010
MECHANICAL ASSISTANT
Servicios Madrigal
As part of my personal interests, I like cars, so I developed as a Mechanic Assistant, where I learned and cleaned workshop tools, assisted to the masters during the repair of automobiles, purchased of spare parts and necessary equipment in the workshop and tested the cars after they were repaired and before the delivery to the customer.

QUALIFICATIONS
Since I started doing CFD simulations for my social service, I have been a zealot for solving Heat Transfer, Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics with CFD and anything related to Mechanical Engineering.
