Date: 3/10/2019    DAN CARTY Zigiang Middle School Xingan Road, Anhai Town Jinjiang City Quanzhou, Fujian Province, PRC 362261 Cell phone: - E-mail-Skype ID:- Gentlemen,   I'm interested in the position of a full-time experienced English Instructor for your advertised teaching position. I have a wide ranging knowledge on many subjects to include world history, ancient history, American History, social studies, health, anatomy and physiology. I have a real passion for making a difference in my students' lives. I love to teach fun English lessons to my students. I have taught both children and adults and they tell me that my classes are very fun and enjoyable. I try very hard to make my classes have a real feel to them. The internet is a great resource for creating exciting lessons for my students. For over 1 year in my position as a Visiting Professor at Woosong Language Institute, I wrote my own dialogs for my students to practice their English. The Woosong University students really liked this approach, because I gave them the chance to write, listen, and speak conversational English in every class session.  Each worksheet that I wrote reflected the subject matter in the lesson for that day. Prior to coming to Korea, I was a computer teacher to elementary and middle school students for 4 years. I also tutored children in reading, reading comprehension, phonics, social studies, and language arts. Every student, that I finished teaching had a 35% increase in their learning ability. I'm a very creative person with many different hobbies including photography, forgotten history, traveling, and health. I'm a very outgoing person and I take pride in my work and lesson preparation. I have three full years of ESL teaching in South Korea. When my current contract expires, I will have completed 14 years of teaching experience and I will have one year of teaching Social Studies to Chinese middle school students. I I also taught photography to my students while teaching my other classes to include: US History, US literature, British Literature, and Writing. Currently, I’m residing in Jinjiang City,Quanzhou, Fujian Province, PRC. I'm enclosing scanned attachments of the following my current CV, an apostille B.S. Degree, transcripts, an apostille criminal record check, an intro teaching video, and a passport. Is it possible to get back with me at your earliest convenience so we could negotiate my salary and the date when you want me to start? My availability is July/August 2019. Respectfully Yours, Dan Carty   DAN CARTY Zigiang Middle School Xingan Road, Anhai Town Jinjiang City Quanzhou, Fujian Province, PRC 362261 Cell phone: - E-mail-Skype ID:- CURRICULUM VITAE OBJECTIVE: Seeking a challenging position in the Field of Education where my particular scholastic achievements, background, and skills can be effectively utilized.       EDUCATION:       Bachelor of Science: Media technology, Multi-Image Emphasis       Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan, USA - 1987        Associate of Science: Electronics Technology         Pacific Union College, Angwin, California. - 1982   EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE: 9/3/2018-Present Zigiang Middle School, Jinjiang City Social Studies Teacher Designed US History Travel Games Designed US Literature Travel Games Designed a US History Wild West Uno game Designed a Survival Game for US Literature Created Mid-Term and Final Exams Maintained Classroom Grades Assigned Student Projects 7/28/2013- 8/29/2018 Wyzant Contractor Tutor Specializing in ESL Teaching Taught English to Foreign Exchange College Students 8/31/2008-8/31/2009 Buyong Elementary School, Uijeongbu Gpik English Teacher Taught English to Elementary School Students, and Adults.
