Beginning with artwork prepress in order to prep it for nesting and eventually ripping. Jobs would be grouped by urgency and by machine. Multitasking was key to this job where printing, routing and finishing were done simultaneously in order to effectively maximize print vs output time. Turn around time is crucial to large format and often practicing proper material usage and reuse saved time and money. Operating 3 to 4 machines takes a concentration and an understanding of various jobs in different stages and which stage to step in.
