AllWeb Solutions - Freelance Web Developer
Started my own Business with the intention of working for clients as a freelance web developer.
Created a web site for major health company, the requirement was for an online store marketing
health products to registered customers using custom code,this included creating a points system
whereby customers were offered a discount determined on points earned on purchases made. This
site included a service to send details for a courier to deliver the products. This project was
created using Magento.
Other projects included maintenance work for clients requiring additional plugins or general site
Updates.

Major project included developing a purchase order system for an online wine company inclusive
of reconfiguring their current web site.
Client required a PHP application for employees to upload their skills and qualifications in order
for mentors and work colleagues to rate their skills, this in turn would produce a rate card and
statistics in graph format to help improve the skill set and performance of the employees.
Working in a team of 4 and using Agile in the planning process I gained experience in
SVN versioning control, redmine ticketing system, website deployment strategies, database design,
Putty and going through test phases before going live.
