Daiki Kaneko

I’m a Senior Full Stack Engineer with over 9 years of experience in software development, cloud architecture, and system optimization. I have worked on many international projects, both on-site and remotely, in countries like Japan, Singapore, and the United States. My main skills include React, Node.js, Python, TypeScript, AWS, and modern backend frameworks like FastAPI and NestJS. I also have strong experience in blockchain, AI, and NLP technologies.

In my current role at LiftBase, I lead a 10-person engineering team and act as both Tech Lead and Project Manager. One of my main projects was building a custom web scraping and NLP system that collects and cleans large-scale job data from social media. I used BERT-based models and clustering to improve accuracy, and managed the whole pipeline using Docker, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL. This project helped improve our data quality and automation process.

At Lancers, I worked as a freelancer and built a financial sentiment analysis API using FinBERT. I also used Amazon Polly to convert text into audio for Firebase, and led the development of an NFT marketplace. At ZOTH, I created RESTful and GraphQL APIs, developed smart contracts, and managed a cloud infrastructure using AWS services like Lambda, AppSync, and OpenSearch. These projects gave me deep experience in blockchain and cloud integration.

Throughout my career, I’ve enjoyed working in Agile teams, doing code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers. I believe that clean, scalable code and strong communication are key to successful projects. I’ve used tools like Jira, Trello, Notion, Slack, and GitHub to manage tasks and keep teams aligned.

I’m always interested in learning new technologies and solving complex problems. I’ve worked with AI models, improved automation workflows, and developed secure systems for global clients. I also enjoy writing clean, testable code using TDD and modern DevOps practices like CI/CD, Docker, and Kubernetes.

My goal is to keep growing as an engineer while helping teams build smart, scalable, and user-friendly products. I bring not only technical knowledge but also leadership experience, a team-first mindset, and a strong interest in future technologies like AI and Web3.
