January 2021 – February 2023 Chinese-English Translator and Media Analyst at TAGFact
My main project with TAGFact was to work for The National Environment Agency (NEA), in Singapore. I curated and translated relevant articles in Chinese for NEA into English and I've also worked as a Mainstream Media and Social Media analyst for NEA.

I have worked as a volunteer, writing articles in English for POV21 on different topics.
SKILLS
Translating: I can provide translations from Chinese into English in a wide variety of domains. I have translated news articles, forum letters, editorials and commentaries, I have also transcribed and translated radio broadcast news and television broadcast news. I can also provide English-Romanian translations as well.
Editing and Proofreading: I have experience editing and proofreading translations from Chinese into English. I also have a very good writing ability acquired from writing research papers in English in university but also from writing blog articles in English.
Media Analysis: I have experience being a Mainstream Media Analyst and a Social Media Analyst.
English fluency: With my academic background I have a strong understanding of the idiomatic, phonetic and phonological differences between American English and British English.
Communication skills: I have strong communication skills which I think are important in any working environment.
Attention to detail: As a translator I developed a strong attention to detail, especially since my last job was to translate articles from Chinese into British English, which meant paying attention to terms and spelling specific to British English.
