Position Title
Senior Medical Sales Representative
Reports To
Head of sales / Chief Business Officer

Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja
Salary
Objectives of this role:
Meet sales targets and increase sales figures year over year
Develop strong relationships with healthcare providers and their staff members and earn their repeat business
Increase the number of accounts across an assigned territory
Shape our brand positioning and messaging in a way that’s consistent with marketing strategy
Learn about the competitor market and consistently rise above through exemplary customer service
and sales tactics.
Essential Duties:
• Assess client’s needs and present suitable promoted products
• Liaise with and persuade targeted doctors to prescribe our products utilizing effective selling skills and
performing cost-benefit analysis.
• Provide product information and deliver product samples
• Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits
• Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent
marketing message
• Build positive trust relationships to influence targeted group in the decision making process
• Monitor and analyze data and market conditions to identify competitive advantage

Knowledge and Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong ability to build quickly build rapport with clients
Easily handles objections and rejections and skilled at overcoming.
Ability to achieve targets and close deals.
Ability to work independently with ambiguity in a fast paced environment.
Educational Qualification and Experience
• Educational requirements include Pharm in Life Sciences, or a related field along with proven medical
sales experience.
• 2 to 5 years’ experience with proven medical sales records.
Requirements and Skills:
• Proven work experience as a Pharmaceutical Rep or in Medical Sales.
• Familiarity with databases, statistics, product lines and latest medical issues.
• Knowledge of MS Office.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and sales skills.
• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.
KPI’s
Average 5 visit to Pharmaceuticals Store, Hospitals or Clinics per day
Round table discussions with average of two clients 2 per month.
Generate 10 LPOS in a month
Meet a sales target of 3 to 4,000,000.in month
