Cody Shaben

As a career changer, I moved into Software Development last year and graduated from Flatiron School's Software Engineer immersive in December. In the program, we were taught how to code in Ruby on Rails for the server side, and React on the client side. While I was in school I also taught myself how to develop servers and API's in Node.js. Recently, I have began to dig deeper in React and have been developing a web application for backcountry skiers using the latest in React technologies. The thing that I love most and look forward to about software development is the continuous learning that the field provides. Things are constantly changing and it's been exciting keeping up with the latest and greatest technology.
