Clinton Martin Instructor- Anna Powers TA- Ian Garrone There were a few things difficult about using the WordPress free site, for instance, how stiff the themes can be. I selected a sidebar menu thinking that it would translate well on tablet and mobile devices, as I've seen sites on both platforms with sidebar menus. what I found with this theme was that the sidebar menu only displayed on desktop. I also hoped the left bar menu would be frozen to the site, the same way freezing a column or row in excel keeps it on the display. I also found that correcting the order of the menu resulted in redundant menu items being displayed, and took a lot of time to correct, not because of anything on my end, but because the corrections were not uploading. Something that I could not find a way to deal with, was managing the visual composition of the page. there is a lot of blank space on the right-hand side of the web page, and I'm not sure how to correct that, or if there is a way to do that in the free version at all. https://huntermcgrathvlog.wordpress.com/
