With this letter I hereby wish to state I’m currently working for the Department of Economic Development
and Tourism. We are currently looking at ways to improve the employability of the youth in the Western
Cape and create employment. With our funder (DBSA) we endeavour to create jobs for our youth within the
5 priority sectors in the Western Cape. The 5 priority sectors are: Energy, Agri-processing, Oil and Gas,
ICT and Tourism. Our primary focus are the youth between 18 – 35 that requires assistance in developing
skills and experience in the various sectors.
I worked for the Department of Justice National Office, Office of the CFO, TPF: Financial Operations. My
Directorate assists the Department in many avenues with regards to Financial Operations. We primarily
assist the courts in accounting for all the money they receive and pay for the financial year. At the moment
we busy with National Rollout of our New System: MojaPay which is SAP based. Whilst we training
MojaPay we concurrently monitoring the JDAS system to ensure that is in order at the court.
I have relevant work experience in this area of business since I’ve been working for the department since
December 2012 and have been involved in many projects pertaining to assisting the courts and rectifying
certain areas within the province of Free State and the other Provinces across South Africa.
By employing all my skills and competences, I’ve supported many within the CFO Directorate in the
development and implementation of the project strategies. I assisted in creating new monitoring templates
and processes for the department.
