Overview
Chris is a seasoned Executive with extensive experience in IT and IT enabled services,
healthcare management solutions, and new venture creation. He has been involved in numerous
start-ups, including serving as Founder and President of one of the most respected IT and BPO
companies in the country during the formative years of the industry.
Chris has 30+ years of professional experience in information technology, retail, manufacturing
and service industries, with extensive experience in Executive Direction, Strategy Formulation,
and Outsourcing Strategy Development, He has developed a deep and broad understanding of
offshore outsourcing, particularly for back office services and software development, with
extensive experience specific to Southeast Asia.
Chris has been based in Asia for over 20 years and has acclimated to its unique cultural aspects.
During this time, he has provided executive direction and guidance for projects with prominent
medium and large organisations in the region, including The Medical City, Sykes, South East
Asian Airlines, Watson Wyatt, Philippine National Bank, Diethelm, DKSH, United Laboratories,
Microsoft Philippines, and others. He has assisted US and international companies explore,
analyse and implement off-shore outsourcing programs to maximise financial and operational
returns while minimising and mitigating risk.
He has been active in helping to promote the Philippines in markets around the world, both
through local events in the Philippines as well as through participation in private/public sector
trade missions to the US and UK, speaking engagements, and industry collaboration activism.

Founded in 1993, SeaChange International was the television industry's leading supplier of
software to store and deliver digital television content. SeaChange products include ad-insertion
solutions for the Cable TV industry and advanced Video-On-Demand (VOD)
products. Headquartered in Acton MA, SeaChange International has development operations in
Acton, MA, Eindhoven, Netherlands, and previously in Manila, Philippines.
Key Accomplishments
• Coordinated cross functional activities across multiple organisations to define process
and plans for migrating work;
• Responsible for staffing multiple projects with cross functional teams;
• Orchestrated planning and budgeting (~US$15M/year) for the Manila facility;
• Managed all cross functional coordination of Manila operations with US and European
offices;
• Grew and managed engineering and support organisation in Manila from 0 to 150+
individual contributors;
• Assisted with the training and migration of all major product engineering and QA groups
to Manila;

stag Philippines, Inc. was one of the most dynamic IT resource management and outsourcing
companies in the Philippines. stag+IT services focused on the development of applications and
solutions that leverage the Microsoft platform, while the Business Solution Group (BSG) provided
Closed Captioning and business transcription services. Organised in 1998, stag grew to become
one of the leading application architecture and development providers in Asia for robust, dynamic,
and scalable applications, and was among the only companies in the world that successfully
provided off-shore services in the closed captioning market.
Key Accomplishments
• Acted as an Industry evangelist promoting the Philippines as an off-shore destination in
the US and UK;
• Oversaw development and delivery of numerous industry-leading solutions in eCommerce, foreign exchange remittance, and business to business trading systems.
• One of the first MS Gold Certified Partners in the Philippines;
• Lead the company’s expansion into the BPO industry which was pivotal in helping the
company diversify and increase revenue by over 50% in the first year;
• Pioneered the first successful off-shoring of Closed Captioning services;
• Took the Business Solutions Group from concept to execution in less than 60 days.

Salus was launched as a spin-off of stag Philippines to serve as the primary vehicle for the
company to focus on the healthcare market. The company developed several healthcare
applications for private healthcare management that were then converted into public healthcare
administration tools. The company is developing a business model working with multi-lateral
organisations and multi-national corporations for grants and corporate social responsibility
budgets to fund implementations of the solutions in community health centers around the country.
Key Accomplishments
• Instrumental in the conceptualisation and execution of a business model focused on
providing solutions to the healthcare industry in Manila;
• Core member of the Industry body commissioned to assist the Philippine government
institute international guidelines and standards;
• Orchestrated several projects between Microsoft, Salus, and local government units to
implement municipal healthcare solutions.
General Manager, Pacific Hardwoods, Inc
1997
Responsible for the setup of systems and controls for a distributor of imported hardwood floors.
Was tasked to negotiate contracts with property developers, architects, interior designers and
homeowners, as well as train and assist sales staff in technical specifications of engineered and
solid wood flooring products. Supervised in-house and dealer installations of flooring products in
residential and commercial applications, and trained personnel in use of power tools, job layout,
and installation. Designed a computerised estimating program to standardise quotations and
costing of projects. Designed and implemented inventory controls.
