I’m a marketer who loves creating new content, working on inspiring projects and finding results through what I do. In the last 5 years I’ve been working with some fantastic Australian (and New Zealand) businesses to bring their marketing to life. I’m comfortable writing a report, creating social media posts, liaising with key stakeholders or discussing marketing strategy. In the future, I’d like to continue to write and create more content to drive brand engagement and conversions. CAREER HIGHLIGHTS Freelance Work Digital Marketing, Strategy, Social Media, Content Creation December 2015 - Ongoing I commenced freelance work in late 2015 as it arose from blogging/event activity I had on outside of my “day job” at the time. Recently I moved into freelancing full-time as my client based has increased. My work has focused on content creation, including writing for websites/blogs, PR releases and social media management. I’ve worked with Two Bulls on digital marketing/social media for their brand, NZ game developer Fiero on a website content refresh and Monash University Art, Design & Architecture department on social media/digital strategy. Recently I also engaged in a product launch with Plox Innovations for a global Star Wars product launch. I also work regularly with Melbourne startup UsabilityHub on their social media and online content strategy. Key Responsibilities Creating new content for websites and social media Providing social media and digital marketing strategies Writing company marketing pieces, including press releases and internal documents Providing team support for various projects as required Helloworld - Wholesale Division (previously AOT Group) Senior Marketing CoordinatorApril 2013 – September 2016 Since starting in 2013, I’ve worked to ensure marketing activity is run efficiently on a tight budget. With a number of KPI’s to hit and a strong marketing plan in place, execution of activities target both business clients and consumers has been my current focus. Working without Agencies, I ensure our creative needs are managed, key campaign activities are run in a timely manner and all media is booked and allocated. My role has changed and grown over time from having a product/campaign focus to now working on key partnership and overall department operations. Since our merger in February 2016 with Helloworld, I have continued to expand my role to include new work stemming from the Helloworld marketing division. I’m incredibly proud of the work we’ve achieved, the people I’ve worked with and the results we’ve seen. My hard work has also been recognised with an AOT All Star award in 2014, as well as my promotion to Senior Marketing Coordinator (previously Marketing & Product Coordinator) in 2016. Key Responsibilities Product & content creation for various brands Developing partnerships with State Tourism Offices (STO) and supplier partners Managing the digital presence across brands, including website, social media and email Marketing planning including budgeting and forecasting New Age Caravans/Little Joey’s Caravan Centre Marketing & Communications CoordinatorMarch 2012 – March 2013 For just over 9 months I immersed myself into the world of caravanning, a task I’d never imagined as a 25 year old. During my time I was the sole marketer for both the manufacturing (New Age Caravans) and retail (Little Joeys Caravan Centre) side of the business. This was an action packed role, often changing location between the factory and the showroom. In my time here I created some amazing content, including incredibly beautiful brochures and a complete website overhaul. I also engaged with a sales-focused showroom, where creating leads & ensuring all materials were of the highest quality was vital. Ultimately my time here was cut short, as a change of location made the commute untenable, but I am happy to have worked with such an amazing range of products and help a true Australian business grow. Key Responsibilities Managing all outward facing contact points for the brands, including digital and physical presences Creating digital and physical content pieces to showcase the brands to consumers Maintaining budgets and ensuring key sales targets were accounted for Liaising with key partners on brand activity for various outlets across Australia Infield Services Group Marketing & I.T. CoordinatorJanuary 2011 – March 2012 In my first full-time role post University studies, I delved into the fascinating world of event staffing. Providing staff for a variety of events which covered everything from the Formula 1 to activations at Coles, we worked hard to ensure a high quality for our large clients. Initially bought on to assist with running staff for events, I quickly moved to a role focused on Marketing & technology support for the team. Some of our best wins were in using (at the time) new technologies such as iPad surveys/competitions, innovative in-field activations (such as Wii tennis as the Australian Open) and working with large clients like Coles & Woolworths on in-store demonstrations. My role here ended when the position was made redundant due to the loss of a large client. Key Responsibilities Working with clients to ensure infield solutions meet their requirements Managing and engaging with staff across Australia to ensure activations went smoothly Internally working on various marketing pieces, including pitch documents and website content Reporting on data gained from activities, creating usable insights and analysis for clients   WHAT I WORK WITH MS Office Suite - Word | Excel | PowerPoint | Outlook Adobe Creative Suite - Indesign | Photoshop | Premiere Pro CMS - Wordpress | Joomla| Drupal | basic HTML | Basic CSS Hootsuite | Buffer | Campaign Monitor | Mailchimp Travel Programs – Tourplan EDUCATION Bachelor of Business (Marketing) & Bachelor of Asian Studies (Chinese) LaTrobe University Bundoora 2012 VCE Ivanhoe Grammar School
