Evolutionary scientist with expertise in hominin evolution, phylogenetic comparative methods, and GIS. Proven track record in fieldwork, curation, and teaching (biostatistics, geometric morphometrics). I combine deep domain knowledge with advanced computational skills (R, Python, GIS) to bridge evolutionary sciences and data-driven research. I have extensive knowledge of biocultural evolution and evolutionary neuroscience. I am currently looking for work managing databases, performing data analysis and visualization, teaching, or research and writing.
I am a lifelong autodidact with a deep interest in human evolution. I have extensive knowledge of archaeology, anthropology, and the evolutionary and ecological sciences. I majored in archaeology and anthropology during my bachelors and received a distinction for both. My masters degree in palaeontology was also awarded with distinction. My background in GIS includes an undergraduate course, and a years experience in assisting in creating a geospatial database of stratotypes across South Africa. My teaching experience includes lecturing a course on geometric morphometrics and biostatistics in R to graduate students, teaching second
year Zoology, and high school mathematics.
