Christopher Kerwick

Australian researcher, writer, editor, and proofreader, living in Colombia. My background includes academic theology and philosophy, community services and English language teaching. I work across a range of styles, from academic articles to reports, blogs, marketing and creative writing. I especially love collaborating with clients who are passionate about their work and helping them to make it shine.

In terms of editing, I can be as light- or heavy-handed as needed. As a developmental editor, I can help you structure your writing, give feedback on your content and argumentation, and provide suggestions on what might be missing. If you need a co-writer, I'm happy to work your text into shape, restructuring and rewriting parts of your text where necessary, to make it clear and effective. As a proofreader, I will check your work for spelling and grammatical errors, as well as improving its style if required. All this is done without losing the original author's unique voice. I especially enjoy editing and proofreading academic works but have also provided services for journalists, blog writers, and community service organizations.

As a writer, I can take your material and turn it into something that your readers will enjoy reading. I can write for entertainment or to inform and critique, as required.

Finally, as a researcher, I can take your brief and set to work to find the information or the articles you need. I have undertaken research at the Master's level, and am familiar with searching databases, libraries and of course, online.
