Modules in first year focused on data structures, fundamentals of programming and system modeling.
Second year modules focused more on different programming languages and object-oriented programming in those languages. In addition, we did a group project where we worked for a client and developed an app for a week.
In third year I took a year out to develop myself through work experience as part of a sandwich course.
In final year we are focusing more on individual learning, especially across the Mobile Applications Module and Final Year Project. Other modules include studies about software design and learning other programming languages. -

Developer, Appt Sheffield
My major role whilst at Appt was a cross platform mobile developer. I developed mainly in Unity and worked with XCode when deploying to iOS devices. This mainly entailed testing and bug fixing, with the occasional new feature being implemented. For a small portion of my time in Appt I was a web developer, working on adding new features to an existing website. Towards the end I acquired an additional role of a content manager for one of the company’s existing websites.
06/2016 – 08/2016
Intern, Deloitte Switzerland (Digital Team)
My focus for this internship was Internet of Things(IoT). I attended an IoT developer day at the Zurich SAP offices and developed a few inhouse ideas. I also worked on other projects. One example being a Request for Proposal (RFP), that I worked on for one of our major clients. I also worked on a presentation that was made to a potential client which described what Deloitte Digital is.
08/2015 – 09/2015
Intern, Deloitte Switzerland (Digital Team)
The main role of this small internship was to develop an app around an Internet of Things example. I developed it from the storyboards and UX, to the final prototype. The prototype was developed in Swift in XCode.
