Christine Joie Olivo

I’m a beginner-level creative with experience in illustration, layout design, and social media page management. I have worked as Head Cartoonist for Ripples, the official student publication of the College of Fisheries, where I created editorial illustrations and contributed visual content for publication materials. I also served as Vice President and Layout Artist for the Marine Biology Students’ Society, where I helped design promotional materials, organize visual content, and support communication needs for student activities.

In addition, I managed content for a Facebook page under Pulsearas, where I created posts, assisted in content planning, and helped maintain audience engagement through consistent visual updates. My experience also includes active involvement in visual arts organizations such as Pinta Okir Visual Arts Guild and Mugna Heneral Visual Artists Group, where I collaborated with fellow creatives on design projects, participated in art-related activities, and developed my skills in digital illustration and layout composition.

Through these roles, I have gained practical experience in creating visually appealing content, working with teams, and adapting designs for different platforms and audiences. I am familiar with basic design tools and have an interest in expanding my skills in digital content creation, social media management, and basic video editing. I am eager to continue learning and growing in a creative environment where I can contribute my skills while improving professionally in the field of visual communication and digital media.
