1. Procurement and Stock Management and Supplies:
Procurement:
• Procuring locally and internationally requested program support items in a timely manner in line
• with International Medical Corps procurement procedures are followed.
• Receiving, arranging and managing storage of IMRES drugs and medical supplies and preparing
status reports on deliveries for procurement, logistics and office management. Part of this
included overseeing customs procedures for imported goods.
• Preparing weekly reports of purchase requests and warehousing needs. This included timetabled
warehousing and stock management field visits to Isiolo and Samburu offices.

2. Logistical Management:

effective delivery of WFP, UNICEF, UNHCR, ECHO and USAID cargoes to field/programme sites.
Management of the Vehicle Pool:
• Organizing and managing transportation network for staff and supplies by ensuring that all vehicles
are safe and road-worthy and have proper on-board vehicle documentation.
• Successfully maintained a vehicle movement board for managing vehicle requests. This involved
the creation of individual vehicle files and scheduling vehicle allocation to meet programmatic and
operational needs.
• Developed framework agreement with local vendors for vehicle rentals and leases and tracking of
