I am a Marine Science graduate from Deakin University, where I completed my Bachelor of Environmental Science (Honours) with First Class Honours. I was awarded the Head of School Award in both my first and second years as the highest achieving student in my degree, reflecting my strong academic performance and commitment to my work.
While my background is in marine science, writing has always been a central part of what I do. My honours research focused on analysing the population dynamics of the Spinetail Devil Ray in Sri Lanka, which involved working with complex data and communicating my findings clearly and effectively. My thesis was recognised by senior lecturers as being written at a professional level, particularly for its clarity, structure, and attention to detail.
Alongside my academic work, I have experience in blog writing and content creation for online platforms. I enjoy adapting my writing style to suit different audiences, whether that means simplifying technical information or creating engaging, easy-to-read content. I am especially interested in writing that makes scientific and environmental topics more accessible and meaningful to a wider audience.
I take pride in producing clear, polished work. I have a strong command of grammar and structure, and I pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency. I am comfortable both writing from scratch and editing existing content to improve flow, clarity, and overall quality.
