As a problem-solver at heart, I am driven by the challenge of identifying and addressing complex issues. Whether it's locating a faulty variable in a lengthy codebase or working with patients to uncover the root cause of speech pathology issues, I thrive on finding solutions and seeing the positive impact of my efforts. With a strong skill set in data analysis, project management, and IT, I am confident in my ability to tackle any problem, no matter the issue.
Right out of high school I entered the military without much direction and immediately found interest in working healthcare becoming a aeromedical technician, and after spending time working in mental health both on the floor and in administration. It wasn’t until I started working with computers that I realized I didn’t just like healthcare and that I loved the aspect of researching problems and discovering the core issue.
A few achievements thanks to having a keen eye are:
• Noticed a logistics error for medical supplies notifying supervisors and saving our unit over 300k$ worth of inventory
•Modified substandard training practices in first month as safety coordinator to bring site to 100% OSHA certification
•Discovered errors on a frequently visited website using php downloading the page source and emailing them a revised version of their code
I currently work in two positions both as an IT coordinator for an international company and as a behavior therapist for children with autism. I love what I do but I’m also looking to further my career goals moving forward in the area of coding and information technology.
