Hi, I’m Christian Hundinay Cat-awan, an IT professional with a strong background in computer systems, network management, and research technology. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology and am currently pursuing my Master’s in IT, supported by a DOST STRAND scholarship, which reflects my commitment to continuous learning and expertise in the field.

My career spans roles in IT infrastructure, data management, and technical training. As a Research Management Officer at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP-CDO), I coordinated technology-driven research projects, ensuring seamless system operations and data integrity. My experience as a Contract Auditor at Del Monte Philippines and Data Processor at the Philippine Statistics Authority honed my skills in data analysis, system audits, and database maintenance, making me adept at handling large-scale information systems.

I am also a certified IT trainer (Computer Systems Servicing NC II), with hands-on expertise in:

• Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting computer systems and networks.
• Setting up servers and maintaining CCTV systems.
• Training individuals in IT hardware/software best practices.

Beyond technical skills, I actively contribute to research and innovation, having participated in specialized workshops on data mining, IP management, and technology transfer. My academic projects and professional work demonstrate my ability to bridge technical execution with strategic problem-solving.

I thrive in collaborative environments and am passionate about using technology to improve efficiency. Whether it’s optimizing network performance, managing research data, or mentoring future IT professionals, I aim to deliver solutions that are scalable, secure, and user-focused.

Outside work, I engage with the USTP Alumni Federation and stay updated on emerging tech trends. I’m open to remote IT roles, consultancy, or training opportunities where I can leverage my skills to support organizational growth.
