Christian Álvarez Urb. Experience April 2011 Intern, Jet Propulsion Laboratory (NASA) Only Puerto Rican chosen as a NCAS for an intensive three-day internship. Prior to it I had to develop an entire proposal for a rover mission to Mars as a series of assignments that were evaluated. This included everything from budgeting, to the design of the rover and its components in a CAD program. After the evaluations it was decided who would travel to JPL, where we built a model of our rover, tested it, and presented the proposal to a group of engineers.
