Proofreading is the final, vital step in the writing and editorial process. Seemingly minor things (like incorrect grammar, a misspelled word, or a mistakenly placed punctuation mark!) can make a huge difference in a reader’s perception of your credibility. Grammar reflects the image you want to project. To be in control of the impression that you’d like to make, a final set of eyes is always needed.
