Hi! My name is Chris Louien, and I’m a beginner freelance video editor who’s passionate about creating engaging and meaningful videos. I may still be starting out, but I’m very dedicated and excited to grow in this field.

I discovered video editing through watching online content like YouTube videos, TikToks, and short films. I became interested in how stories are told through clips, transitions, music, and effects. From there, I started practicing on my own using tools like CapCut and learning more about how editing works. Over time, I’ve gotten better at cutting scenes smoothly, adding subtitles, syncing voiceovers, and making videos that are clean and enjoyable to watch.

As a beginner, I understand the importance of listening carefully to what clients want. I’m open to feedback, and I always do my best to improve and meet expectations. I’m not afraid to learn new things, and I enjoy experimenting with styles and effects to match different kinds of content whether it’s a vlog, short-form video, motivational story, or promotional reel.

Right now, I’m focused on building my experience and portfolio. I’ve already worked on a few sample projects and personal edits, and I’m looking forward to helping others with their video needs.
