I largely rely on SolidWorks for all of my 3D modelling, I create functional products that can be printed out or manufactured. To sell these products, I use Keyshot to create high quality lifelike renders that offer a glimpse into what the real thing will look like, and how it will function. I have access to a 3D printer which I regularly use to test CAD work that I have completed.
Research is always a large part of the design process, whether it is understanding the target consumer or revamping existing designs to suit the modern environment. I create mood boards and consumer boards to visually communicate who I am targeting, and the best way to do it.
I am continually looking to develop my skills and learn as I go. I am currently learning new software including Grasshopper, Rhino and AutoCAD to expand on my skillset.
