About

I have been in the transcription industry for over a decade now. My first transcription job was for a BPO company called PeopleSupport, Inc., Phils. (now known as Aegis-PeopleSupport, Inc.). I did transcriptions for general and entertainment audio and video files. I also handled their database system for my assigned shift for quite a while. After I resigned from that company, I continued as a freelance transcriptionist and accepted home-based general transcription jobs, side-by-side with my day job as a proofreader at a local spreadsheet, The Daily Tribune, where everything that they published went through me. I also had writing gigs for the said newspaper, mostly in the lifestyle section.

I graduated with a degree in communication arts from a reputable college, Colegio de San Juan de Letran. After a couple of years, I got hired by a major local TV network, GMA Network, Inc. as a researcher, then I got promoted to being a segment producer/writer/creative producer. I wrote scripts for TV, mostly documentary programs. All of these jobs require transcription of video files and proofreading of final scripts.

Being a staff of TV programs and independent films here in the Philippines, I am pretty much experiences in social media marketing. As the writer and producer of these shows, I am the one who knows every episode by heart. Therefore, I took the task of an online producer as well, doing digital marketing for our TV programs and movies to promote and to lure more people to watch our final videos.

As a writer, I run my own blog via WordPress for personal purposes. But I am more than willing to go an extra mile and write blogs for clients. Although I run my own blog, I cannot say I am an expert at it. But I can definitely operate all the basic navigation in WordPress, and I can easily learn if requested to do blog posts on other social networking and blogging sites.
