Chinaza Joan Nwaoha

Chinaza Joan is a highly qualified and dedicated professional with a diverse educational background and a wealth of experience in finance and education. With an extensive academic journey, I have developed a strong foundation that includes a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of South Wales in the United Kingdom, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the National Open University in Nigeria, and certifications in Data Processing and Microsoft Office from SM Computer Institute. This educational background culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Madonna University.

My professional journey has been equally impressive.

Prior to my role and achievements at NEPC, i was currently promoted to Account Officer I, where i have taken on a range of responsibilities These include managing the accounting department's day-to-day operations, providing customer service, researching and analyzing financial data, and representing the organization at various meetings and conferences. My dedication and expertise have also allowed me to mentor junior accountants and oversee the workflow of the department, ensuring that all deadlines are met.

I started at NEPC as an Account Officer II, where I have contributed to the preparation of financial reports, maintained accounting records, processed invoices and payments, and provided valuable support during audits. My role extended to offering financial advice to clients, demonstrating my versatility in the field of finance.

Before my time at NEPC, i served as an Education Officer at the Secondary Education Board (SEB) Abuja. In this role, I played a pivotal role in overseeing academic activities related to "Accounts & Bookkeeping" in senior secondary classes. My responsibilities included ensuring the implementation of the curriculum, managing student preparation for senior secondary certificate examinations, maintaining accurate records, and evaluating and grading student work.

During My early career, I completed a successful administrative and finance internship with the Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) in Abuja, Nigeria. Here, i managed administrative records, provided support to staff, assisted with financial tasks, and demonstrated excellent organizational skills.

I am not only well-versed in finance and education but have also invested in personal development by completing workshops on monitoring and evaluation, Public Finance Management, and expenditure control. My versatility extends to IT skills, adaptability, critical thinking, and strong communication skills, both written and verbal. I am well recognized for professionalism and ability to deliver results, making me a valuable asset in any professional setting.

Outside of my professional life, i am passionate about accounting, finance, record-keeping, and research. My love for reading and dedication to management, administration, and customer service showcases my commitment to personal and professional growth.
