After receiving my Master’s Degree in English from Marygrove College in May of 2008, I have embarked on a professional journey that will lead me well into my lifelong goals. I know I am the best candidate for this position because I meet all of the qualifications that you are looking for in a candidate. I am currently studying for my PhD in Education-Professional Studies at Capella University.
My educational background has allowed me to acquire dynamic academic writing skills. I am familiar with the core standards of elementary through post-secondary education. In the beginning of my teaching career I taught K-12 as well as developed curriculum during my tenure. Moreover, over the past 14 years that I have been teaching and developing curriculum, I have continued to build on my craft through professional development. Even though I am currently a college professor, writing is my passion, and I enjoy creating curriculum that fosters student learning. I am also a seasonal rater for Pearson and Educational Testing Services, and I have collaborated on SAT writing projects.
Per college writing, I am well-versed in APA and MLA writing styles. I have been teaching both formats for 12 years. I have begun editing dissertations within the past three years, and three of my clients have earned their doctorate degrees.
