Chigozie Abuta

Chigozie is a Master of Science in Agricultural Extension (Agricultural Communication/Information and Communication Technology in Agriculture) degree holder from the University of Port Harcourt. he has a good command of Microsoft package (MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint), ability to use and navigate Google suite, management skill in agricultural projects including value addition skills, skilled in team building and collaboration including online collaboration skills, possesses key competencies in leadership, communication and problem solving skills, and ability to use IT tools for remote collaboration and work.

Chigozie worked as a Research Assistant at Molsyfem United Services from February 2018 to December 2022 and gained research, data analysis, analytical and critical thinking skills. I played an active role in proofreading and editing of academic journals [Journal of Agriculture and Social Research (JASR), Global Approaches to Extension Practices (GAEP), Journal of Agriculture Socio-economic and Sustainable Environment (JASSE), Journal of Technology for Education (JOTEN), and Journal for Applied Research (JFAR)].

I acquired skills in the writing of different types of reports. I performed qualitative data analysis with the Director, Molsyfem United services on Sasakawa Africa Fund Enterprise (SAFE) Project, Evaluation of Enterprise Centre in University of Ilorin and Bayero University Kano.               

He also worked as Personal Assistant/Secretary in the Office of the Associate Dean, Faculty of Agriculture and Assistant Director, Centre for Research Management and Development, University of Port Harcourt, from March to September 2015. While I was here,I acquired skills in; record keeping, report writing, data entry using MS Excel and SPSS, reading, computing and typing, communicating, relating and receiving visitors.
