About

** My biography**

I possess extensive experience as a healthcare practitioner, having attained over twenty years of varied experience in a wide range of areas, including medical laboratory science, hospital management, and clinical writing. I have been involved in numerous hands-on diagnostic procedures, demonstrated sound leadership qualities in teams, and applied quality assurance principles, all of which are essential for ensuring the provision of high-quality healthcare services. I have also engaged in creating various technical and educational materials that are customized to fit various stakeholders within the healthcare sector, thereby making sure that they are equipped with the required information. As a duly registered member of the Kenya Medical Laboratory Technicians and Technologists Board (KMLTTB), I am proud to maintain high professional standards while adhering to strict regulatory requirements in all my tasks and activities in the healthcare field.

Throughout my extensive and professional career working in the healthcare sector, I have actively and intentionally participated in developing and designing a variety of healthcare documents. These materials include Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), comprehensive policy guides, lengthy training manuals, and meticulous internal compliance reports. The primary reason for creating and painstakingly drafting these important resources was to offer vital assistance to hospital and laboratory departments.

In undertaking this project, I have assisted in maintaining a flawless degree of accuracy, transparency, and uncompromising conformity with essential ISO standards, the established framework of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), and relevant national healthcare legislation. My efforts have facilitated accreditation readiness, enhanced onboarding efficiency, internal communication, and the overall quality of service provision.

Throughout my tenure as an administrator at Langata Hospital Ltd., I made a conscious effort to expand my responsibilities to include the valuable task of developing several healthcare management documents. This overall task included the development of detailed assessment plans, the design of proper employee performance appraisal tools, as well as the development of user manuals specifically tailored for both administrative and clinical staff. As one of my additional duties, I offered to develop in-depth and thorough bi-weekly operations and compliance reports specifically for the senior management. In the reports, I carefully documented the performance trends that were noticed, included critical quality metrics, and identified strategic areas that were ready to improve. Additionally, I have acted as a principal point person for healthcare staff education. This has included the development and dissemination of numerous education materials, including policy briefs, information sheets, interactive workshop presentations, and detailed onboarding manuals, all aimed at easing their integration into the organization.

My technical writing is significantly enhanced and consolidated by a firm and unshakeable grasp of electronic health record systems and health informatics. In addition to this, I have acquired extensive competency in efficient data analysis for monitoring and evaluation of performance. Throughout my whole career, I have always integrated this specialized expertise in various report formats, detailed dashboards, and training materials for both non-clinical and clinical users.

I hold a Higher National Diploma in Clinical Chemistry, which has equipped me with a strong foundation in the discipline. Additionally, I am pursuing a Master of Science in Healthcare Management, which I anticipate completing by December 2025. Such education offers me the capacity to present an unmatched blend of clinical practice and strategic thinking, especially in the areas of content development. In addition, my attainment of various certifications in quality management, Six Sigma philosophy, strategic planning processes, Scrum frameworks, and infection prevention methodologies greatly contributes to my proficiency in creating educational and technical content that is focused and impactful. I have rewritten the text as follows:

My passion, and only passion, is to take dry, complex healthcare information and turn it into instruments that are not just readable but usable for real-world application by a wide variety of people, from medical professionals to patients who wish to know and organizational leaders who need to clearly see and understand. In my efforts to develop various educational tools, such as training modules, comprehensive policy manuals, and lengthy patient instructions, my main goal is to enable the safe, informed, and effective delivery of care. This is accomplished through generating high-quality content that addresses the needs of all stakeholders.
