At this position/role I opened up to new technologies and had to work on
different types of projects.
And most of this work was new so I relied self-learning to gain the skills
necessary to get the job done
Intern/Web Developer — Vulcan Labs
I had normal intern duties that were like and similar to watering the plant
and cleaning up, but also had responsibilities that include:

Moring stand up’s

Kata with Senior developers

Completing coding exercises to prove my knowledge of JavaScript

Work the intern group project

And the later demoing the project to the Seniors

Then getting work on actual live codebases that actual client's users
on a regular basis

Projects
QA World chrome extension:
This is a recent project of mine and was a real expansion of my web developing skills and knowledge.
The client had problems clicking on a table of links so they could start transcribing at QA world, as
the timeframe that the links would be displayed was too small for the client to click on them.
So, I decide to design a web scrapper to grab the links when they were displayed, pick the link with
the longest audio and then click on that link.
The project was built with Vanilla JavaScript, HTML and CSS
(CMS) Ticketing System Application:
My intensions with this project were to show off my new found skills and to build something that I’ve
never done before. It’s a simple ticketing system where a user can add workspaces, projects and
tickets as well as add others users/contributors to projects and/or tickets.
This project was built a few technologies like Typescript, React, Express, JWT, PostgreSQL and Knex
to name a few.
