Tel: - CHARITY WINFIELD Email:- September 2019 – February 2020 • During this time my partner and I travelled the Scottish Outer Hebrides, Colombia and completed the Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain. April 2018 – September 2019, Operations Manager, The Last Crumb Cafe • Liaised with suppliers to organise weekly orders, negotiate rates and discuss new products. • Managed all office enquiries and identified marketing and PR opportunities, such as local market appearances. • Introduced new till system to improve efficiency and ease. • Created and updated website content. • Took control of all administrative duties for the Front of House and Kitchen. • Organised meetings with the owners and head chef, took minutes and distributed as appropriate. • Managed nine staff, their professional development with performance reviews and their holiday entitlement. Also managed all recruitment for Front of House. • Produced weekly rotas, monthly newsletter and introduced customer feedback cards, enabling management to implement changes and stay on top of feedback. • Ensured the cafe was operating and conforming to all relevant legislation and high standards were upheld. • Identified opportunities to enhance the cafes presence and organised event (i.e. market stalls, birthdays, weddings, Christmas parties). • Took control of the cafe’s presence on Instagram, ensuring quality content and high levels of engagement with existing and potential customers. • Introduced a retail section, selling the cafe's coffee and homemade products. • Dealt with local council to reduce the cafe’s business rates and organise waste disposal. November 2017 – September 2019, Lime Hut • Worked alongside the owner, in partnership, to elevate start up catering company, Lime Hut. In this, I identified key PR opportunities, helped with brand story, design and networked with others to discover new prospects. • Helped design and execute event and super club menus. Helped organise and execute events and super clubs. • Worked on Lime Hut’s stall, situated on Berwick Street, Soho; cooking, dealing with customers, taking orders and managing the till. • Trained new staff on working on the company’s primary source of income, the market stall. • Organised weekly food orders and ensured all market stall equipment was stored correctly. March – April 2018, Brands2Life, Freelance PR Consultant • One month contract to produce content for the technology and consumer departments. November 2016 – March 2017, Chalet Host, VIP Ski • Responsible for luxury eight-man chalet in Val d’Isere. • Hosted guests and provided them with continental and cooked breakfast, afternoon tea and a three-course evening meal, six days a week and cleaned chalet daily. May 2016 – November 2016, Freelance PR Consultant, Archetype • Worked on accounts such as Hasbro, Amazon, Sage and BAE Systems. • Organised global tech company, Sage’s, annual event (Sage Summit), from a media perspective. o Secured media attendees and organised all travel arrangements. • • • • Lead role in global PR co-ordination across a number of accounts. This involved liaising with partners and clients to establish global strategies and content. Part of the new business team, therefore pitched to prospective clients. Worked on analyst relations for client, AMD. Cultivated relationships with analysts at Gartner, Forrester and IDC. Daily tasks included chairing team meetings to ensure all work was on schedule, managing account executives time, contacting media with relevant campaigns, creating content and taking part in creative brainstorms.
