With twenty years of hands-on, successful teaching experience, I am confident in my ability and I have the passion to become a positive addition to your school community as a Mathematics instructor. My first teaching experience was as a Lecturer in the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka where I worked for three years and then I worked in The British School in Colombo for 7 years and then joined Overseas School of Colombo for 9 1/2 years and now I am working in a project as the Mathematics teacher (English medium) and delivering O/L syllabus for local students by Mr. Dhammika Perera.

I completed the B.Sc.(Statistics) degree (Equivalent to M.Sc. in Statistics) at the University of Colombo, having obtained first-class honors. I was also awarded the gold medal for Statistics as I was the top-ranked student of my batch in the University. I have been involved with the teaching of IB mathematics for the last 17 years. I have taught Cambridge Mathematics and then Edexcel as well. Now I am comfortable teaching online through zoom. In Sri Lanka, I studied the local Mathematics curriculum without GDC. But I know how to teach with scientific as well as TI 84+/N-Spire calculators.
