As is evident from the multitude of programming languages I am proficient in, I am a quick learner with a passion for discovering new tools to solve complex problems. With the multitude of languages and web frameworks constantly becoming popular and being adopted to solve new inefficiencies in the development process, learning on the job has become imperative. While I have a BS in computer science, my far more valuable experience comes from my hands-on experience, including a multitude of independent projects which can serve as evidence of my proficiencies in several different languages and frameworks.

As an intern first at CACI and then at NASA, I was expected to teach myself Angular and React respectively while completing complex tasks and contributing to the regular sprint schedule. While working freelance for Corbel Solutions, I had to explore many new concepts in order to develop independently such as learning to use OAuth 2.0 to interface with several popular agile management APIs.

At both NASA and CACI, all team members participated in tasks at all levels of development. I learned how to work effectively with two very different project organizations. For example, I learned how to interface with a Django RESTful API connected to an on-premises PostgreSQL server at NASA. Meanwhile, at CACI we took advantage of AWS infrastructure as a service to connect to a MySQL RDS and NoSQL DynamoDB through API gateway. Similarly, I was responsible for full-stack development, including a React frontend and NodeJS Express API, while developing freelance for Corbel Solutions. I learned how to develop flexibly, and learned to be comfortable with unfamiliar technologies.
