About

I am a medical student at Baylor College of Medicine with a strong foundation in both clinical practice and community service. In the hospital setting, I’ve provided direct patient care under supervision, assisted in surgeries, maintained sterile fields, and supported life-saving interventions like CPR and intubation assistance. I’ve also gained experience managing patient data in Epic EHR, ordering and tracking imaging studies, and documenting lab results with accuracy and timeliness. Earlier in my career, I worked closely with Dr. Mark Batrice as a medical assistant, where I conducted physical exams, prepared medications, managed patient charts, and served as a bilingual translator for Spanish-speaking patients.

Outside of clinical work, I’ve taken on roles that highlight my leadership and organizational skills. At the University of North Texas, I co-led a food pantry initiative that secured a $250,000 in-kind donation from Kroger, coordinating with corporate representatives and university leadership to expand community impact. I’ve also worked as a child care assistant, where I managed safety, conflict resolution, and bilingual education for children.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude in Biology with minors in Chemistry and English, and I was honored as a Kinney Scholar for advancing pathology education. Fluent in English and Spanish, with working knowledge of French, I bring adaptability, critical thinking, and strong interpersonal skills to every environment I join.
