In terms of my professional background, I have spent the last 6 years working as a medical virtual assistant, client support representative, and customer service representative. I started working with the United Health Group as a customer support agent in 2019. I handled both incoming and outgoing calls. I've gained a lot of experience working with United Health Care. I used to answer patients' questions regarding determining eligibility, researching local and national providers, determining the price of their medications, and other insurance concerns. After working for UHG, I joined the Optum Specialty Pharmacy, which I find more difficult because it doesn't just refill prescriptions for drugs we can buy over the counter; these drugs are called specialty medications. But what makes me the happiest is that I am routinely placed among the top achievers because of the excellent treatment I provided to a variety of patients. I also became a subject-matter expert after continuously producing high-quality work. Also, I worked as a virtual medical assistant in a psychiatric clinic in New York City. I make appointments, handle incoming and outgoing calls, handle pharmacy issues, verify insurance, facilitate online registration, handle emails, make support calls, and—most importantly—charge cards for payment in conjunction with billing meetings and audits. I supported a Medicann Doctor as an executive assistant. I managed inbound and outbound calls and do the scheduling appointment. My recent job is a Medical Staff in Care Clinic in Florida. I supported different providers. My tasks are to refill medications, checking Prior Authorization and relaying medical laboratory/imaging diagnostics results.
