I am Catherine Norte, 35 years old, a dedicated mother of two, and a professional with a strong background in administrative work, tax compliance, and document management. I have served in the City Government of Iligan in two key roles—first as a Collector and Checker for the Iligan Economic Enterprise Development & Management Office (EEDMO) from 2015 to 2018, and later as an Administrative Assistant in the City Treasurer’s Office from 2022 to 2023, specializing in Business Tax Mapping.

In my role as an Administrative Assistant, I developed expertise in preparing demand letters for businesses operating without permits or with expired permits, issuing Notices of Delinquency, and gathering detailed taxpayer information across various commercial areas. I also conducted on-site inspections to verify business operations, ensuring compliance with city ordinances and local regulations. My work required precision, attention to detail, and consistent communication with business owners, while maintaining accuracy in official records. I am proficient in using Google tools and other digital platforms to prepare and organize documents efficiently.

During my earlier service in EEDMO, I was responsible for collecting taxes from market vendors, checking payment records, and maintaining accurate vendor databases. These experiences strengthened my skills in record-keeping, compliance monitoring, and financial handling.

After resigning from my government role in 2023 due to pregnancy, I became a full-time housewife. However, I also took the opportunity to enhance my skills in the digital workspace. I completed my training with Sova.ph (School of Virtual Assistant) and earned a certification, equipping me with knowledge in online tools, administrative support, and virtual assistant tasks. This training has prepared me to transition my skills from the public sector to the remote work environment.

I am recognized for my organization, reliability, and commitment to ensuring accuracy in every task. I approach my work with professionalism, integrity, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Whether working on-site or remotely, I strive to deliver quality output that meets deadlines and exceeds expectations.
